The projects encompassed full lifecycle of planning, procurement, engineering support, and high-level supervision for the implementation of advanced technological systems. This included adaptation to the operational, architectural, engineering, and functional requirements of each client. Activities included needs assessment and requirements definition, development of a high-level technological concept (program document), envelope design, preliminary design, preparation of tender and procurement documents (including technical specifications, infrastructure requirements, bills of quantities, and cost estimates), support during the tender process, and oversight during the design and implementation phases (PDR/CDR meetings, FAT/SAT). The projects also included quality assurance and compliance monitoring through to final delivery.
In addition, the projects provided ongoing support to the Security and IT departments in all aspects of smart/safe city processes, including operational concepts, interface definitions with other systems, evaluation of new applications, and the provision of technological solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
The projects included a variety of advanced technological systems, such as command-and-control systems (C2), CCTV systems with virtual matrix switching, video analytics systems (VA), Intrusion detection systems,  public address (PA) systems, and video walls, multimedia systems including display screens and video walls structured cabling, data and communication networks, server rooms and IT infrastructure.
